currently i use my pci tv-card to capture tv from a settopbox for digitaltv with an s-videoconnection. So now i can watch live tv with intervideo windvr with the channel turned on s-video. I've now bought a laptop and i want it to replace my current pc, so i need to watch tv on this laptop. Which tv-card should i buy (usb, expresscard?) or is there a way to use my current pci-card with my laptop. Does anyone has good experciences with Pinnacle Dazzle Video creator? what's the difference between de platinum and normal version? Can i use this tv-card to watch live tv the same way as i do now? because this tv-card does not have an analog tv connection and my current tv-card do.
Nobody who can help me? i think i'm gonna buy the AVerMedia H830 AVerTV Hybrid Volar HD. But i'd like very much a confirmation if i can use this device to watch tv witch the s-videoconnection or not. And if the images are smooth, because a connection with usb is a bottleneck i guess?
