i got a 250 external hd i want to put half fat half ntsf.im using windows vista.i tried the mmc command butt i can only format it 1 or the other.i need it half and half.how do i do this please..

Format the drive to fat32 then partition it. Then you can format the partitioned side of your choosing to NTFS.
