Hi folks here,
I changed my hard drive and happened to clean install vista. Now I am looking for drivers for the laptop (model m-7351u). The gateway website is of no use becuase any of the drivers loaded from the website do not seem to work. I could not figure out what are the makes of the following in my laptop; (so that I can search and download appropriate driver)
1. Ethernet controller
2.Network adapter/controller
3.SMbus controler
4.video controler
5.WEb cam (seems drivers installed properly, yet, device not functional).
Any clue is helpfull
Just for info, device manager indicates drivers for the above are not installed properly

If you have not erased your old hard drive you can put it back in the computer and load up vista. Then you can use the program double driver to back up all the drivers to a flash drive or something. Then load the other hard drive back up and use double driver to install the drivers.

Old hard drive broke and which is why I purchased a new one. Old data is not accessible anymore and I am struggling for the drivers.Atleast I need the ethernet driver and once I am able to get online, I may be able to update other required drivers.
Thanks for input

I don't have the exact model you have (MD7818U), but looking at your model, I am hoping is just a difference in HDD/processor. Mine runs Vista Home Premium 64X, just give it a try, maybe the network adapters match:
