gigabit network

    ok I want a gigabit network right now I have a


    Trednet Gigabit switch TEG-S80g

    D- link nas-321

    and a computer

    but when I transfer files my speed is always around 9.5 MB a sec



    now this is what I think it is I have a wirless router thats not gigbit that connects to the switch but I need it for another computer

    but that shouldnt matter right IDK


    also I have cat6 cord thanx

    so you want a 1024 bit network and you only have a 7600Byte network seems good to me or is that meant to be 1024Byte? still pretty good speeds :)

    no this is what i figured ( correct me if I am wrong)


    100mbit = around 12 MB

    so
    1000mbit = around 125MB thats what I want why isnt it going that fast though
