    Hi all
looking for some gen before I go ahead with this I currently have an ati radeon x1950pro crossfire edition card installed in my system as far as I know I have a asus p5w dh delux motherboard which has an pci express x16 slot.
I know I will need to put in a new power unit but the card I'm considering is between the geforce gtx 470 or 480 and the radeon hd 4800 seies ,Ive noticed that on some of the cards they require pci express 2.0 or 2.1 my question is will my mobo take these cards or not and what is the difference

Your mobo will take them; the cards do not require PCIe 2.0 or 2.1; they are just compatible with it if you happen to have it. There is almost no performance drop without it.
