I bought my computer with only an onboard graphics card and recently I just bought a Radeon HD5770.

As the recommendations for the card was a 450watt PSU I bought one too.

I bought this card because I wanted to use two monitors however whenever I plug in a HDMI cable my internet connection drops to near non existent.

    Any one got any ideas?

How do I find out whether that is the problem?

I should note that I'm a complete idiot when it comes to these type of things.
