Well I'm tryin to install a HD from a old computer to a new on I got. The problem is that the new computer has satA cables for the ha and th old pc didn't so the HD are diffrent. I was just looking at the
New pc and I noticed that the extra cables where you hook up the DVD rom are the same. So can I just hook it up there instead? My main HD is like 40 gigs total or so I got the pc from some guy at the
flea market so I need some extra space... So any help is welcome on how I can do this or if I should switch the. HD because the old one is130 gigs Ty in advance

there ought to be a spare connection on the dvd ribbon connect your 130 gig hard drive to that, make sure if you have a jumper on the drive that it's set to slave , because the dvd will be set to master
