    Hi,

First I have att dsl, Im using a netgear modem/router combo DGN2200 N300

The problem Im having is with my laptop and my desktop which are both wireless.
Anyways, Im only able to have 1 of them connected to my wireless networt, If I power my laptop on it will steal the connection from my desktop which I cant get back til I reboot the desktop.

So Im thinking They are using the same IP? if So maybe I can assign ips for each device I use on my network? Anyway Advice on how to resolve would be super helpful :D

read the manual from the modem\router about that. also read the manual(s) for the wireless adapters for laptop & desktop.
