Hi all, i purchased a hard drive last week and moved all my movie files onto it so i can watch them on my TV via scart, everything was great until i tried adding a folder with a file that was 4gb and now it says that the hard drive is full when i have over 200gb left, does anyone know what is causing this and how i can solve the problem.

    Thanks,

( i used the search function but couldnt find anything)

i dont believe that fat32 will support a file that size try moving some smaller files and see what happens

Depending whether you need FAT32 for a 360 to be able to see that partition or such like you can create an extended partition as NTFS or if you have no particular need for FAT then you can covert the whole drive from FAT to NTFS,the link below is to a free partition tool or there's always g/parted or such like,i'm not sure if windows itself can convert or not
