Help with Getting the right alienware pc?

    I am working on getting a alienware m15x laptop soon i wanted to know if it would be able to handle all of the games out now?

    PROCESSOR Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz (2.8 GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache
    VIDEO CARD 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 240M
    MEMORY 3GB DDR3 at 1066MHz

    get a desktop as it is cheaper & more upgradeable then a laptop.

    Thanks for the input I would just like to build my own destop but I need something portible for college I just need to know if that graphics card can handle most the games out now

    It can handle any game - it'll just vary upon which settings you can run which games at (something like Crysis will probably only run reasonably well at medium and below). I'd suggest you choose a better graphics card when you configure it - a HD4870 (if given the option) would be quite a lot better, and at least on the UK site, it's the same price as the GTX260 option and is therefore a really good deal.
