I was told to go to the bios and go to CMOS and find VGA and disable it. Well I can't find it. I know what to do otherwise.

This started because I have an HTPC that is a

    Compaq SR5050NX Pentium D 3.0GHz 1GB 250GB

I upgraded the Ram and added a 1TB external and a Visiontek Radeon HD 2600 Pro Video card. It worked fine for 3 years. I had it connected to my Samsung 46" DLP 720P. It started dragging and finally the card quit working on HD. Later it died. I bought A Saphire Radeon HD 4550 cheap at Newegg and put it in. It took a while to get it configured, but I got it going. I had a Samsung 19" monitor on the vga output and the 46" through the HDMI output. It worked about a week and then I tried something that reset the resolution. When I checked the 46" it was off. I can't get it going again. So I figure I will put it in the T160 and see if it got fried or something. But I can't find anything on how to disable the T160's integrated graphics. Any help is appreciated.

Is there any chance the T160 will be fast enough to play HD.

I am disabled and know I need a new PC, but don't get any Gov assistance and have to be frugal. I got the T160 off Freecycle as broken, but it just had viruses.

on most motherboards, when a videocard is inserted into it's slot, it over rides the onboard video. try it & see.
