Ok here is my problem i have 6 HDD's in my PC there all around 400Gb or Higher 5 are sata drives one is connected via ide, recently when i restarted my pc none of my drives would show up in the bios but i disconnected them all and starting reconnecting them one by one about 5 of them came back the 6th one wich is 400GB when connected causes the others even the ide to not even show up in the bios, these drives are less than a year old any idea what may be the cause im going to take out the 400gb and try it in another machine today just to check it out because it has lots of imporant information on it but any advice on this would be greatly appreciated

I assume you have already tried connecting just the problem drive and no other drives to see if it shows up in bios. If not, I would try this first.

If this does not work, let me be the first to welcome you to the RAID fanclub.
