Hi, so for the past few days my monitor screen has been blinking on then right back on. It only had done it a few time throughout the day. Now today It did it a lot within less than 60secs. it only seems to happen when I open up a program, or look at some pictures, or start playing a game like World of Warcraft. Also there are little dots on my screen they seem to be blue. More show up when World of Warcraft is open. Also, I looked at the power light on monitor, it does not shut off. It blinks as if you were changing the resolution. After it blinks back on nothing has changed. I have checked all connections going to and from the monitor, they are all nice and snug. I took the panel off of the PC and made sure that it is all free of dust. I have downloaded NVIDIA MonitorView, and shows my GPU is running at 60C. I actually downloaded that yesturday and the hottest it got was 72C.

Here are specs of my computer:

Windows Vista 32bit with Service Pack2
    System Model GM5626
Processor: Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00Ghz 2.00 Ghz
    Memory Ram 4.00GB
Display Adapters: NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
Monitor: HP w2007 Wide LCD Monitor

So, if it is my graphics card, which I suspect that it is, what would be a good replacement, that is not going to cost me too much/

    Thanks for all replies.

ya it is the graphics card, i pulled out the card, and hooked up my monitor to the mobo port and it works fine. hooked back up the graphics card plugged the monitor back in and started doing it again. So now I am looking for a new card. Something that can play WoW, Sc2, and BFBC2, not too expensive any suggestions would be nice.
