When i turn of my monitor, and try to turn it back on, i get a nearly-complete black screen (as in nearly pitch black, but still visible if you look at the screen hard enough) when i turn it back on. It takes alot of resets of the monitor to get the normal screen brightness. I tried switching the VGA monitor connector ports (my GPU has 2), but didn't help.

Anyone got any ideas that would help me?

    Monitor: Chimei CMC 19AW – 19 inches
GPU : ATI Radeon HD 4870
