    HI,
here's where I am at, my old PS was over heating and my screen was starting to get all fuzzy. So I turned off my PC and looked online what the symptoms might be, it was a over heating power supply. So i go and buy one at my computer shop.
Installed it, after i had no video and my cpu fan and my PS shuts off after 3 seconds around.
Was told by 90% of the people that it was the MOBO, so i bought a new one and still dose not work. same symptoms as before no video and no boot up that lasts longer that 3 seconds...
going crazy over here please help!!
    ps x-supply
    cpu core 2 duo e5400
    mobo asus p5kpl-cm
ram one kingston ram and one buffalo
    thanks

cpu heatsink & fan assembly properly seated? try 1 ram stick at a time to see if 1 of them is causing problem. disconnect all cables to drives to see what happens. is the extra 4 pin power connector connected to the motherboard?
