keyboard not working in boot screen

    the problem is that it does work on the bios screen but not on the screen where you can choose to start in safe mode whereyou go up or down to choose how you want your pc to start also on the f8 boot screen my keyboard will let me choose where to boot from ie from ide or drive c or drive d so if i choose the dvd drive it will let me but then you get the message saying press any key to continue it wont work then so i cant for instance boot from installation disks as k/b wont respond when i have to press any key to continue cheers.

    You can try turning on BIOS keyboard support.

    If it is already on, try turning it off; bios makers often get things backwards during translation.
