I've been very happy and all with my Toshiba Satellite laptop, but suddenly the charger's connection is gone. If I wiggle it around while it is plugged in, I can get it to charge, but it's really not practical. Can this issue be easily fixed, with soldering or something along those lines, or would this have to be sent in for repair?

    Thanks

laptop will have to be taken apart to be fixed. is it a 4 pin connector or 1 center pin connector?

I thought so, and it's a central pin.

i had this same problem with a different laptop. i had to take apart the laptop and re-solder the plug to the motherboard. the easy part is taking it apart, but putting it back together is tricky. the screws on the motherboard were numbered, i just got a piece of paper and drew a grid, and numbered all the boxes, as i took a screw out i set it on the numbered box on the paper.
