    I have a toshiba A210-17I Equium.

I had a snag and the HDD was recovered but it wiped all the old data off and it was a clean install.
Looking at my drive capacity using my computer,it is telling me that i am using 35gig of a 74.4 gig HDD(allowing for graphics etc).
Going through all the files on this drive i can only find 20 gig exploring the C drive of this drive.I would like to know where the other 15 gig is being used/what for.
I am running vista 32 bit home premium.Could this 15 gig be "hidden files".
    Thanks.

It may be "hidden files", possibly because vista puts files all over the hdd. Or, it could be that it is using base 10 instead of base 2 math (1gb = 1024mb, but is shown as equaling 1000mb)
