Hi everyone, i opened my laptop today and the screen made a loud crack and it looks like the image i have attached, it looks like the metal has bent so the plastic case cant go back into place.

Does anyone know if this would be an expensive job to fix?

Sorry about the image size didnt realise it was so big

plastic should be easy to fix as should just pop back into place but i think the problem is with the right hinge, can you take a somewhat close picture of the hinge so we can see what is going on? what is the make & model# of the laptop?

looks like the hinge has pulled out of the lid
have fixed this before using three 2mm bolts right through the lid in place of the screws was a lot stronger and the customer was happy
the lid can cost up to £40 screws cost less than a pound labour is the same either way
this was probably caused but a very stiff hinge
