    Hi Y'all,
I bought this HP Pavilion dv7 1135nr just over a year ago and for the last couple months I've been having an issue with the PC just shutting down. The thing just shuts off, no blue screen or errors or anything like that, it just shuts off. I'm thinking it's a heat issue because it does feel pretty warm in some areas. I'm no expert or anything so I guess I'm asking if it could be the heat thats shutting it down or could it be something else? If it is the heat, is there anything I can do to help keep it cooler? I really like this laptop and I would hate to have to get rid of it and have to get something else after just over a year of use. Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.

check in the bios in hardware monitor to see what the cpu temperature is at & what is at after sudden shutdown. if have or can borrow an air compressor or cans of air to give the laptop a blow job to clean out the heatsink(s). can also get a laptop cooler tray that the laptop sits on that has 1 to 3 fans powered by the laptop's usb port.
