Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard 5000

#1 11 Sep 2010 @ 10:12
Operating system Vista 32bit. Microsoft Wireless Laser Keyboard/mouse 5000. Keyboard and mouse recognised by system/keyboard and mouse properties all present and correct. Wireless signal quality high for both devices. Have been working correctly for over a year and yesterday the keyboard stopped responding to commands. I have uninstalled/restarted/re-installed software to no avail. Both still appearing as healthy and in good working order. Only the mouse responds...Can anyone please help? Tanx in advance...(",)**

did you try another set of batteries if they are removeable?

The system recognises the mouse and keyboard. Battery and wireless levels excellent. Something wrong with the keyboard itself, I have come to realise hence buying a keyboard. Tanx to all who replied.
