so it gets scrambled. like interference.

What type of monitor is it LCD or CRT.

if its LCD you might want to pick up a new VGA Cable make sure it has all the ground pins there should be 15 pins in all, if that does not work or if you have a VGA cable with all 15 pins present Buying a new VGA card might be your best bet.

if its CRT remove any electronics Such as Cell phones AT&T and T-mobile especially from the Area Make sure your Speakers Are About 6 inches away From the monitor, older non shielded speakers may need about a foot lengths away.

its not an lcd monitor its an LG studoworks monitor
i think if it is from the vga it freezes and do it all the time, right.

is it a 700s model, those things have more wiring and soldering issues than a first gen xbox360.

if you tap on the monitor and it fixes itself it is indeed a fault in the wiring.

i can only recommend you contact LG and Request support/repair services.
its not your fault its there's and as such make sure they realize that.

not a simple fix no. it requires soldering and retracing on the PCB if you wish to fix it yourself. retracing seems to be a lost art these days.

It is very hard to justify repairing a CRT these days...you can get nicer LCD screens for cheap, and they pay for themselves in saved power. Plus there is the whole "save the earth" thing if you care about that at all.

Note: if you don't repair the screen, please recycle...lots of lead in those old CRTs.
