    Hi folks!
Ok so my problem is that my computer would not start and get to my desktop. It repeatedly restarted and went to the screen that allows you to select safe mode. However, I was unable to select anything as my keyboard wound not work. I have tried both my keyboard and mouse on another computer and they work. I swapped out a hard drive from another computer to my broken one and was able to get to the desktop, however, both the mouse and keyboard are unresponsive. I am unsure as to what to do now. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

ps2 or usb mouse\keyboard? are they in the correct ps2 ports, green for mouse, purple for keyboard? if both hd's give you the same result then motherboard crapped out.

Go into bios and turn on BIOS KEYBOARD SUPPORT.
