ok, so I turned on my PC and when it goes to the desktop no internet icon appeared, and then when I go to Control Panel - Network Connections and I see that my local area connection disappeared and I can't connect to the internet anymore, I've done nothing wrong to what caused this it just went and creaked on his own. And then I sensed that the router has gone mad, it's connected to the PC and no light appeared on one of the numbers. So how will I fix this, because I just don't want my PC to go to waste. Thanks in advance. Anyway my router is NETGEAR RANGEMAX Wireless Router WPN-824.

moved to correct forum as not a windows issue. onboard netcard or pci netcard? if onboard is it enabled in the bios? is there an unknown device or exclamation mark in device manager?
