    Hello,
I have a problem with my monitor. From time to time it turns yellow, I've changed its cables as someone told me the cables are the problem, but still nothing. This is happening when I turn on my pc, after 5 or 10 minutes becomes white as it should be.
It's LCD and it's quite new, about 1 year and a half.
Anyone knows why this is happening? Should I buy a new one?

Its probaly something with the monitor. If its only when you turn it on its probaly not a big deal. You could live with it or just replace the monitor.

see if it does it on another pc. some monitors have a 3yr warranty so might still be under warranty.

Yes, I know, but the big problem is that I lost my warranty....I know I'm stupid, but really don't know where I put it, I've been looking for it everywhere, I just don't find it at all. I should have put it in the same place as invoice but I don't know what was in my mind that time....

Most maunfactures dont require all the paper work to run the info for a RMA. They normally just want the invoice. If you are wondering about the warranty time you can normally find it at the mfg website.

Yeah...when it starts going yellow at startup, you probably only have about a month of life left in it. This is a sign of an open circuit, and if it affects the whole screen, then it is a serious one.

Try to get it replaced. If you can't, then start saving for a replacement.

Well, thanks, I'll give them a phone and try to explain about this problem as I hate it when it's doing that.
