Hi, Someone recently gave me a Western Digital MyBooK World Edition 1TB NAS. They gave it to me as a present, brand new with all instructions and discs, but out of the box. I do not know where they purchased it. I do not want a NAS, I prefer local drives such as firewire or USB. Is there anyway to use this drive as a USB drive. Or is there any way to return it to some store and get some type of credit.

You could convert it over to a ESATA easy enough.
