I switched from verizon to comcast and the verizon router was great for WIFI. the Comcast router model is a Gateway SMCD and it sucks for WIFI. I have drop signals throughout my house. I was talking to a tech and he suggested a third party router and bridge the gateway router. But what kind of router do i get. I want a decent one to give me WIFI through the house and don't want to spend alot of money. and is to installed. I might have to run a ethernet cable up to pc on the second floor from the basement. I need all the help thanks.
