I'm wanting to know if it is possible to enable the onboard video on a Gateway FX6831 Desktop. I've attached a picture of the motherboard and bios version, which I think are all made by Gateway. I've tried a few things. First I took my Radeon HD 5850 Graphics card out and tried to start the computer and was met with a long beep and two short beeps from the motherboard. The next thing I tried was looking in the Bios settings, but I didn't see anything about enabling onboard video. I also looked on Gateway's support site and couldn't find any drivers for the onboard video. Any help would be appreciated.
try going thru this link if you haven't already. http://support.gateway.com/us/en/product/default.aspx?tab=1&modelId=2301 did you try clearing the cmos as found that to work sometimes to kickstart a stubborn system?
