Hey, I recently turned on my pc, and i booted into ubumtu, I left it for about half an hour and when I got back, i moved the mouse, and the screen went from normal to alot of white Dots, the screen flashing and just funny colors, in windows the Rez would be really big and unuseable, my bios number code is 26, i'm currently using my iPhone to do this thread, so if I sound strange, that's why does it sound like my graphics card or motherboard?
great title.. very helpful indeed. boot in single user mode and run dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg that should solve it.. unless you have a hardware fault.
