pc wont boot up

    strange problem here it was working fine till yesterday i went to turn it on today and nothing will appear on the screen, theres no problem with the monitor or the vga and the pc is always very loud when booting up for a couple of seconds before going quiet when i turn it on now it just stays very loud, any suggestions?

    try another psu. check on the motherboard that the silver topped cans(capacitors) are not domed or leaking brown stuff.

    yeah they were how on earth did that happen id imagine that its useless now?

    not worthless as fixable if you know or somebody else knows how to replace them, i do that all the time including psu's. what is the make & model# of your computer or motherboard?
