Ok this is how it is..

i have a packard bell x9810 which has a nForce chipset

i want to flash my xbox which has a Phillip's drive which also goes by BenQ i understand?

i'm following a tutorial and it tell's me for the simplified method to use a PCI SATA Card

i'm looking into buying a SATA Card is there a certain one i should buy considering my chipset? or wont it matter?
as the tutorial state's nForce or VIA are recommended.

    Thanks guys.

So when I buy this chipset does it mean I have to remove my current nforce chipset that's in my pc? And replace it with the via chipset? Or won't I have to go to that length.?

The chipset of the S-ATA controller has nothing to do with the chipset that runs your PC. Very few boards have this S-ATA chipset installed normally, which is why you have to buy the extra card in the first place. Any of these three cards will work fine regardless.
