I'm trying to install my old printer on my old PC that I'm giving my sister. The PC is a HP Pavilion 552w and the OS on it is XP Home. It's running pretty good still, the old thing lags when she's playing games on Facebook, but besides that, it's in fine shape. I ran Avast and there's no viruses, I ran Spybot and deleted the malware, etc. But I can't get this printer to work for nothing!

I know the printer works because I hooked it up to another PC with no problem. It is an HP PSC 2350 All-in-One printer. I still have the original installation cd it came with. However, every time I try to install it, it gets to about step 3 of 4 and says:

Fatal Error 'Error 1935. Fatal error during installation.' (MSI Error 1935) ..

This message displays each time during the HP software install attempt. Is there any clues as to why this may be happening?

    Thanks in advance. As always!
