I have a wireless Microsoft mouse, and its been playing up a bit lately. It does double clicks, when I only do a single click and its very annoying. I tried re-connecting the mouse to the usb by pressing the connect button at the bottom of the mouse and the one on the usb, and putting the usb inside the mouse (if you know what I mean). I also tried plugging the usb in closer to the mouse, so it gets a clearer signal, maybe. I looked at my mouse settings on control panel, but saw no problems there at all. Nothing I tried fixed the problem. Do you think my mouse will keep on doing that, and I should just try getting a different mouse? If so, whats the best one I should get? I dont want one with wires, even though those are better. Any suggestions, please?
[edit] I definetely don't think its a problem in settings, because it double clicks at randomest times, but it mostly does a single click like I want it to. And as I said, I checked the settings and found no probs there.

moved to correct forum as not an all other topics issue. check under the mouse icon in control panel as sounds like settings issue.
