putting in more memory

    i want to install a bigger hard drive on my pc cuz the one it has is too small i dont wanna put it as a slave drive so if i installed the new harddrive how can i put the os into my new harddrive do i got to reinstall it or what????

    If you buy the retail version HDD it usually comes with cloning software. If you buy an OEM (bare) drive there are third party apps that will do it.

    or keep current drive just for windows & new drive for data so that if windows screws up, you won't have to reload everything including data.

    cloneing software whats that and where can i find it and how do i use it????
