Hello, I have an old server motherboard laying around, with 8 DDR ECC memory slots. Since I only have two 1gb sticks of ECC ram, I was wondering:
The BIOS has a "Disable ECC" option. Does this mean that if I disable ECC, I can put normal memory sticks in it (non-ecc)?

    Thanks.

It should work with normal ram with the ECC disabled in BIOS...at least that is how it worked on my old Dell PE1800 mainboard (the only DDR1 ECC board I ever tried this with).
