Quick RAM Question

    hi! Been reading this site for a long time, incredibly useful!
    Anyhow a quick ram question... I have a rather nice Toshiba laptop that I put windows 7 x 64 on. Now it has 3gig of ddr 2 800 mhz ram, I happen to have a 1 gig 667 mhz stick aswell. Is it worth using? will it mean my 3gig then operates at 667? is their any point?

    I don't think you have room. Your laptop probably has 2 ram slots...one has a 2GB and the other has a 1GB...to upgrade you would need a 2GB or larger stick.

    You can get a 2gig stick cheap off ebay and sell the existing 1gig stick to make up for the cost.
