Replacing a faulty motherboard

    Hi i am looking to replace a faulty motherboard and would appreciate help on which models are compatible with my PC.

    My current make of motherboard is an ECS and model type is MCP615M-GM

    I only use my PC for basic use i don't use it for gaming at all.

    is your computer a namebrand like dell & if so then what is the make & model# of the computer?

    My PC make is e machines:
    The information on the side of the tower is:
    AMD athlon 64x2 processor
    NVIDIA G force 6100
    DVD + RW super multi format dual layout optical drive
    160GB hard drive
    1GB DDR2 dual channel memory

    which emachine as in "T" series or what?

    Apologies for the patchy information i am supplying,i am a total novice but keen to learn and your help is appreciated.

    The model type is emachines E4252.

    i am replacing only the motherboard.i have replaced the cpu and my problem still happened. my pc shuts off at random times and have been told it may be the caps have blown but i would rather just put in a new motherboard
