router and print server?

    i have a edimax wireless router with a built in print server and a cannon usb printer, i want to setup wireless printing. is this possible? ie laptop wireless connection to router and usb printer pluged into router. but i cant get it to work. am i doing somthing wrong? thanks in advance guys.

    did you setup the printer as local or network as has to network?

    i set it up as network. is the setup i have ok or do i need another computer conected to the printer? many thanks.

    just 2 make sure...the printer has wireless capabilities? or is atleast wired into the router/switch?

    Since your router has USB print server, plug the printer into the router's USB. Open your routers control panel (usually your gateway ip address) and enable the print server function.
    open your add printer wizard and add the printer to whatever network address it has.
    The manual that came with your router explains this all in better detail.
    If you do not have the manual, google it. Read it. There is a whole section on using the print server capability.
