    Hey,

I was over my friends house and decided to configure his ports following a guide on the portforward website, it is for his 2wire 2071-A router/modem. Basically I played around with the firewall and added an application allowing a certain range of ports. After that my friend told me the internet doesn't work anymore and there's a message that says "Router behind router detection", something about a third party router. He is using a router from which his 2wire is connected to, so I deleted the application I created, reseted the firewall, followed all prompts that appeared, got rid of the router and it still comes up with this warning.
I'm not really sure what to do from this point on, I'm not even sure it's because of the port fowarding; most likely is. Has anyone had experience with this kind of problem, or experience with this modem?
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

Can reset his router to factory defaults and start over?

Actually he fixed it by running the repair bridge connection wizard I think, thanks for the suggestion and we did reset the routers numerous times. CHeers
