i am under telus for internet and apparently i cant add any more ports to open its limited. have around 16 open and wont let me add anymore. I got ports open for xbox live netflix world of warcraft. I want to know if i can make it so i can open more ports cause this is not cool.
UPNP. most all modern games have this on by default, it opens the ports required when the program is initialized and closes those ports when the program is terminated. UPNP leaves a small security hole that can only be accessed by a program that's on your computer, in other words if you got a Trojen/Virus on the local machine it would open any ports it so pleases. no Trojan/Virus no security hole.
