i have an asus crosshiar formula 3 motherboard, with its own sound card which is supreme xi-fi sometimes the sound crackles, and the volume bar on my tray icon freezes, up until the crackles stops, then the sound goes completely off, i have to restart my pc again, to bring back the sound. someone told me that its a driver problem, i have installed 3 drivers, 2 from the asus website, and one installed by windows 7 automatically. all of them did not seemed to work. do i have a bad sound card i need to change it? or is it a driver problem? pls help thanks
