Hi All, I have an old touchscreen till at work and the power supply has gone so I have ordered a new one but the motherboard connector is different. I have uploaded pictures of the old connector and the new connector below. My question is can I pull out the respective coloured cables from the new connector and place them into the old connector and use that on the till's motherboard? Many thanks in advance. Marcus.
I don't know what your connectors look like. If they are Molex, you can purchase an extraction tool from a electronics outlet. Extractors do a nice clean job without destroying pins, wires and insulation. You might also consider purchasing insertion tool. Most connector styles have tools available depending on the manufacturer. Jeff
