I own a toshiba hdd extracted from a ps3, i formatted it into my pc using swissknife and afterwards installed a bootable copy of windows 7. Now i have a problem, when i pug it into the usb port the computer doesn't recognize it ... for what reasons you ask me. The other problem is that i can't use Swiss Knife the free version on Windows 7, compatibility issues, after it installs the .exe file doesn't start. So i beg you please give me some suggestions cause i'm out of any ideas.
disregard everything i said please, what happened is that the USB cable should've gone directly in the motherboard's usb port not through a usb(female)cable
