Ok, I love this Laptop and never had any issues with it untill now. The screen side buttons "Tapbutt" or "pen buttons" have stopped working. tapbutt.exe is still running in my processes, and I can acess the properties, but I'm not getting the chime or popup when hovering my pen, and when I touch the button nothing happens. Before anyone says drivers, I have reinstalled them, the install v# is 1.0.0.11 . I couldn't find any new drivers on the Toshiba website, or any "Pen/Tap" drivers for that matter. I know the digitizer is working because I'm writing this with my pen. If anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated.

Can't think of much for this, I would uninstall the drivers, do a restart and then install ccleaner and do a clean with the option to "only delete temp files older than 48 hrs" unchecked (remember to check it again after) in case there is some dodgy drivers left in temp. Do a registry clean with ccleaner (create a backup). Go into device manager and look to see if there are any devices listed that correspond with the tablet and uninstall the driver, do a clean again, restart and try install the new drivers.

Apart from that a fresh os install? Sorry all I can think of.

Just tried safemode with no success. And reinstalling my OS is not an option at the moment, I have a lot of important data on here.

I just bought a new one on eBay, needed it anyways. When it gets here I'll transfer everything, and then reload the OS. If I still have issues with the buttons then I'll be back lol.
