tv tuner card

    There is football on tonight will this work? or should I wait, order a better one online.

    It will work. the hauppagauge pvr tuner cards with the hardware mpeg encoders are the best. I have the pvr150 (an older model of the hauppagauge) and I'm very happy with the results.

    These will work great when use with beyondtv or sagetv as your tv software. But will work with almost all tv software.

    Of course, it will not record any HD from any cable/satelite provider...and you are not going to get such features without buying from an OEM who bribed someone.
