Hi, thank you for taking the intrest and reading this post. My pc is constantly freezing up, by freezing I mean that I can still see everything on the screen, there are no blue screens ever but I cant do anything on the pc. I tried alt+ctrl+del and it doesnt even respond, the only thing I can do is to hold down the power button for a prolonged period of time to shut it of. This happens in different situations and at different times, when browsing the internet, playing a game or just moving my mouse on the screen. Please help and thank you very much, Mariusz.

    1. Does it do this in safe mode?

    2. If you disconnect from the Internet, does it do this?

I recently troubleshot a problem where Windows Update was full of updates that never got installed and was clogging the system as long as it was connected to the internet.

In my case, disconnecting from the internet and installing the queued updates resolved the issue.

also look at your motherboard at the silver top cans which are capacitors that they are flat not domed oe leaking brown stuff. your problems sounds the same as a customer of mine with same problem, had 6 domed capacitors on motherboard.
