    Hello people...

    Basically ive had this pc for a year or two now and its starting to get on my nerves, its slow and makes me cry even at the best of times...
    My system specs are as follows;
    Processor: Intel core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13Ghz 2.13 Ghz
    RAM: 2 GB (2x1GB) i think i have 3 slots, but a scan from 'Crucial' tells me i have 4
    Im running Win7 on 64bit
    Graphics card: is the only thing ive upgraded, and i can tell when gaming.
    for example, just started RIFT and i can have it all on low settings and run super smooth. or i have turn them up and the framerate will ofcourse go down slightly, but the only thing that rapes the frames is when i have all the shadows and edge smoothing up.
    Ive also played Resident evil 5, CoD Black ops, Left 4 Dead 2 & Dead island all on high top graphic settings (dead island on normal/average), no lag what so ever. perfect framerate...
    Any suggetions on what i should buy?
    any help will be appreciated.

    Thats what i was thinking, it'll have to be DDR2 because the RAM i have at the moment is, right?
    Not sure about the motherboard, i'm guessing i go onto the bios to check?
    oh the computer says its a dell, but its custom built, just the case is dell.
