I have been using a kingston datatraveler 2gb usb drive. Now my computer is saying the disk in drive f is not formatted, do you want to format it now. I have files on this usb that I do not want to lose. Can someone guide on what do & how to get my files off of the usb
first check it on another computer. That happens to me occasionally, one computer won't recognize it, but another computer see's it perfectly. You can try installing on a different usb port. Worst case scenario, the free testdisk/photorec can recover the data for you. the programs runs from the exe file no need to install.
