USB headset problem on vista

    i just put my old USB headset into my new pc...the old headset is an sennheiser USB pc 25....but for some reason it dosnt work on vista it says it couldnt start (code 10)...does that mean i justhave to get another headset?

    It means the driver installed is not the correct driver for the device. If there are no vista drivers for the headset then you will need to buy a new headset for Vista.

    is there any chance that you will know if the sennheiser pc 26 is for vista?

    Have you tried just updating the driver via device manager?

    ye but it couldnt find anything...also on the sennheiser website arent any drivers...

    Guessing you will have to buy a new headset then, or ask Sennheiser if there is any way to install it on Vista.

    well now i got the pc 26 with the USB adapter....but now the device cant be reconized...becuase the ''drivers'' arent installed...but there are no drivers for the headset

    It's probably meant to be a plug and play audio device, but rejects the driver Vista has for plug and play audio, i.e. isn't compatible.

    ye i already solved it by plugging it in a diffrent USB ...really weird but hey it works now =)
