USB port damaged

What would be cheaper in terms of pricing, I either need to replace it or fix it at a local store. It is a laptop so it is a must to have several USB ports/

this is good replacer for my usb port, it can fit many different types and the keys are good quality to type on

Well you really didn't provide us with much information about your laptop. It would help if you provide us with the model number. If you aren't experienced at doing this type of repair yourself then you can possibly do more damage than what you already have.
It may also be hard to find a replacement part for your laptop. You can also buy a USB hub like in the link provided to give you 4 USB ports if it hard to repair your laptop or cost to much. This is just a sample in the link below. They are pretty easy to find in most stores.
